AFL Queensland, through discussions with clubs involved, has determined the results of the two Alpha Sport Pre-Season Cup matches that were abandoned due to extreme weather.
Results are as follows.
POOL A
Labrador vs. Broadbeach
Due to an electrical storm, the game never started. Labrador have opted to pull out of the next round of the Alpha Sport Pre-Season Cup, allowing Broadbeach to advance and play Morningside in this weeks final.
POOL B
Mayne vs. Maroochydore
When the game was called off due to an electrical storm at the five minute mark of the second quarter, Mayne was leading Maroochydore 9.6.60 to 1.2.8.
Following a mutual agreement between both clubs, Mayne were declared the winners and will advance to play UQ in this weeks final.
