2016 marks the 150th anniversary of Australian Football in Queensland.
This milestone provides a fantastic opportunity to not only celebrate the history of our code, but the history of your club.
We want to hear your story and find out what’s unique about your football club, no matter how long you’ve been established.
To this end AFL Queensland is inviting all our clubs across the state to get involved in our HOMECOMING theme and establish a HOMECOMING round or event for 2016.
HOMECOMING celebrations can be as large, or as small, as you wish to make them.
HOMECOMING events provide you with an opportunity to reengage previous members of your club and share your history with current members.
Efforts made early in the season can help boost your club throughout the year as you reconnect with your past.
