Pete has been an outstanding coach to the very lucky U8 Red Hot Roos junior AFL team at Coorparoo JAFC for four years.
Pete lives and breathes footy and shares his passion with enormous enthusiasm to his team of boys and girls. The kids absolutely love him, as he finds fun new ways to improve their skills, often with his self-designed training drills.
Friday night training with young kids can be tough but Pete has the patience of a saint. He is so encouraging of all his players, ensuring they all have fun, instilling in them the importance of team work and encouraging them to look after each other.
Pete makes every player on his team feel equally valued.
