State Senior Representative football will return to the 2023 calendar, with players from every senior competition in Queensland available for selection in the Men’s and Women’s teams that will travel to Hobart to play against Tasmania on July 1.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the following:
- A clear representative program training and coaching plan.
- High level knowledge and experience in coaching senior football.
- A strong educator who is an excellent communicator both on and off the field, and who values player care and development.
- Level 3 AFL coaching accreditation (desirable) in line with the AFL QLD Coaching Pathway.
- Ability to manage the talent ID and selection process in conjunction with the assistant coaches and AFLQ representatives.
- The ability to create an environment that is inclusive for all players, coaches, and support staff.
- Willingness to engage with all Senior Leagues and administrators across Queensland.
