AFL Queensland announces inaugural Pasifika Community Event

AFL Queensland is excited to announce the inaugural Pasifika Community Event in collaboration with the AFL South Pacific Female Academy, which comprises representatives from Papua New Guinea, Nauru, Fiji, Tonga, and Vanuatu traveling to Australia.

The selected squad of 30 young women have been invited to attend this year’s camp after being selected from the AFL Youth Oceania Cup tournament held in Fiji last year.

The AFL South Pacific Female Academy camp forms part of the AFL’s pathway from the Pacific to Australia for aspiring players, coaches and umpires, and is supported by the Australian Government through the PacificAus Sports program.

Bring the whole family along to meet the team, enjoy food from the Pasifika Food Stalls, and enjoy free entertainment all afternoon from local artist Geed up.
