The AFL Mackay junior season starts on April 15 with six teams in the U17s age group and seven in both the U14s and U12s.
For the first time in several years, the Eastern Swans and Mackay City Hawks will field their own U12 and U14 teams, having previously combined numbers for the past couples of seasons. They’ll continue to play a combined team under the Swarks name in U17s.
