Popular young Mt Gravatt clubman Fergus Reid passed away last Sunday and a ceremony to celebrate his life will be held on Friday 23 July.

A ceremony to celebrate the life of Fergus Reid will be held on Friday 23 July at 12noon at Fergus’ home.

The Vultures and QAFL are mourning the loss of young Reid, who passed away last Sunday following a courageous battle against bowel cancer.
His father David is a much respected past president of Mt Gravatt and Ferg was a promising player in the reserves until being diagnosed with the illness.
A golf day in Ferg’s honour to raise awareness and funds for bowl cancer research was held at the Pacific golf course at Carindale on Monday.
AFLQ extends its sincere condolences and thoughts to the Reid family.
