Sunshine Coast Juniors will join forces with Underwater World and Brisbane Lions stars this weekend to raise money for Chris Richardson.
Chris is a year nine Maroochy High student who earlier in the year was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer.
Having played several games with the Maroochydore Under 16s at the beginning of the year Chris was forced to cut short his season to undergo numerous surgeries and chemotherapy.
Throughout his fight against cancer, Chris and the Richardson family have received overwhelming support from the AFL community, as well as the Maroochy Cricket Club, Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club and Riverlife Community Church.
On Juniors Grand Final Day this year Maroochydore had five teams represented and Chris, along with his family came on the day to support his club and his team.
