A strong Gold Coast outfit has claimed the 2015 Queensland Under 16 State Academy Championships with a strong win over North Queensland.
Both teams sailed into the final undefeated but it was the coasters who pulled out all stops in the final to claim the sliver wear.
Other matches on the final day of the carnival saw Sunshine Coast secure a 10-point win over Brisbane South, and Brisbane North notch up a comfortable victory over South Pacific.
