GWS heading to Noosa

The Greater Western Sydney GIANTS will hold an open training session on the Sunshine Coast as part of their pre-Christmas training camp.

The entire football department of about 70 players and staff will travel north to Queensland with Virgin Australia for the second year in a row later this week.

Following the success of last year’s camp, the GIANTS will once again be based at the Noosa Tigers AFL Club in Noosaville.

Locals are welcomed to come and watch the GIANTS train on Wednesday, 17th December and fans will be able to meet the players and get photos and autographs after the session.

GIANTS Head Coach Leon Cameron said the players and staff were looking forward to once again travelling north for the training camp.

“We really enjoyed our time on the Sunshine Coast last year and felt it gave us an excellent fitness base as we prepared for the season,” he said.

“The players appreciated the support of the local community and we look forward to seeing them at our open training session again this year.”
