The Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS Under 16s boys teams will commence their campaign today against each other in Round 1 of the 2022 NAB AFL National Development Championships.
The Under 16 NAB AFL National Development Championships is the highest level of state and territory representative football, as part of the AFL’s Talent Pathway Program. The competition will feature the most talented boys from across Australia who are the next generation of stars in the men’s game. Matches will be played across the country mostly throughout June and July.
The Queensland teams games are as follows:
Round 1:
Wed, June 29: Gold Coast Suns v Brisbane Lions – Metricon Stadium Oval 2, 1:00pm
Round 2:
Mon, July 4: Gold Coast Suns v GWS Giants – Metricon Stadium, 9.45am
Mon, July 4: Tasmania v Brisbane Lions – Metricon Stadium, 12.00pm
Round 3:
Fri, July 8: GWS Giants v Brisbane Lions – Canberra, 1:30pm
Sat, July 9: Northern Territory v Gold Coast Suns – Darwin, 12:00pm
