2023 North Queensland v South Queensland Final Teams Announced

The annual North Queensland v South Queensland Representative Clash is less than a week away and men’s and women’s final squads have been locked in.

North Queensland will be defending their titles on home soil this year, with both games to be played in Cairns at Cazaly’s Stadium on Saturday June 24.

The North Queensland women’s team, under the guidance of Head Coach Jen Revell, will incorporate players from Cairns, Townsville, Capricornia, and Mackay. Players to watch include Emily Harding (Hermit Park), Katelyn Lynch (Yeppoon Swans) and Jen Wren Manunda).

The North Queensland men’s side will be led by Head Coach Wes Glass and will feature a balanced team with each region represented. Notable players include Daniel Jackson (North Cairns) Jack Mentha (Eastern Swans) and Chris Tidswell (Thuringowa Bulldogs).

With high hopes of securing the inaugural win for the South Queensland women’s side is Head Coach Jaimie Stanton. Jaimie will be leading a talented squad of young women from Wide Bay, Darling Downs and South East Queensland.

Hungry for a win, the South Queensland men’s side will be led by Head Coach Andrew Cadzow and features talent from all across South Queensland, including Wide Bay and Darling Downs.

The women’s game starts at 3pm and the men’s 5pm, with both games to be streamed live via Cluch TV.
