Registrations are now open for all head coaches and assistant coaches who facilitate both male and female programs to attend the course from clubs and schools.
The course is designed to provide progressive youth (U12-U17) and senior coaches (U18-Open) the opportunity to develop and learn about modern coaching in our game.
A reminder coaches will need to have updated and registered on Coach AFL for 2023 and completed all requirements so they can get access to the link to attend the Level 2 course.

This accreditation is delivered in Queensland. To complete the accreditation coaches are to complete the below requirements.
Attend 1 full day face to face session.
Complete the pre course Coaching Philosophy online module.
Complete an in season mentoring task (completed by end of the 2023 season)

– Game Day Coaching
– Reflective Practice
– Program Philosophy -values, vision, purpose. The way we play
– Principles of Planning

– Strategies and Tactics Match Day Coaching
– Program and self-reflection, mentor support
Criteria for Selection: Coaches must hold a current AFL Foundation Coach accreditation in the appropriate age group they are coaching in 2023 for a minimum of 1 season/12 months and be a registered member with Coach AFL.
