The 50th Year of Darling Downs AFL is just around the corner and AFL Queensland has today released the 2020 Allied Pickfords Cup fixtures.

In a similar format to 2019, the 9 team competition will allow all clubs to play each other twice across 18 rounds of football with a 5 team/4 week finals series.
The competition welcomes the Dalby Swans back into Senior Football, whilst the Highfields Lions have not nominated a side in 2020 keeping the balance at 9 senior sides.
Saturday April 4th will see a blockbuster Round 1 to launch the season, with Goondiwindi to host Coolaroo in a 2019 Grand Final rematch.
The 2020 fixture also sees Friday night Football return and will feature ANZAC Round fixtures on the 25th of April this year.
The 5 team finals series will commence on the 22nd August, with the Grand Final to take centre stage on Saturday September 12.
