#AFLQ150 invitation to clubs

Twenty sixteen marks the 150th anniversary of Australian Football in Queensland; a milestone that provides a fantastic opportunity to not only celebrate the history of our code, but the history of our clubs.

We want to hear the stories of all our Queensland clubs, no matter how young or old.

AFL Queensland is inviting clubs across the state to get involved in our HOMECOMING theme and establish a HOMECOMING round or event for 2016.

HOMECOMING

The aim of HOMECOMING is to provide an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the contributions, both on and off the field, which members of our junior and senior clubs have made.

HOMECOMING celebrations can be as large, or as small, as clubs wish wish to make them.

A FEW IDEAS:

Homecoming Hero                        Choose one player each home game with a story pre-match and match day coin-toss.

Homecoming Ball                         Theme your night-of-nights with a homecoming ball. You could even theme tables from different eras.

Video                                                   Take the time to film a short 2 or 3 minute video and tell us your club’s story.
