Everton Wolves JAFC are seeking a coach to take on the new role of Under 17 Girls coach.
Everton Wolves JAFC is a small family orientated club that in 2019 will be celebrating its 50th playing season at our 2 grounds in Enoggera Memorial Park. The club has experienced significant growth in the last few years from 135 in 2015 to over 200 players in 2018.
Since our first girls team in 2016, Everton has been growing girls AFL with over 50 players in 2018 and currently have a opportunity for an Under 17 team in 2019, our 50th playing season.
We are looking for an experienced coach to support the further development of our girls’ football. As coach you will be responsible for our U17 Girls’ team, continuing their football development through match day and training activities, in line with our club’s mission to encourage and promote the play in a friendly and effective club environment.
You will also be a part of the broader development of our girls’ teams, working with the other coaches and coaching coordinator to enhance the skills across the club and community exposure.
We are looking for someone with strong experience in football through coaching and/or playing with experience at junior level preferred. You will also need to be a great communicator, working with the team and parents as well as peers in the club.
Mayne Tigers AFC also play from our two grounds at Enoggera Memorial Park and are aiming to have a Woman’s team up and running in 2021 and this role can move up to being the inaugural coach for them.
