AFL Queensland are seeking applications for a State Talent Skills Acquisition & Technical coach – Male & Female Programs.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide expert coaching, education, guidance and prescription to AFL Queensland State programs in regard to the technical fundamentals of Australian Rules Football(ARF). Kicking, Handballing and Marking are the main focus areas to the role but also includes other components of Australian Rules Football. AFL Queensland talent guidelines are that training sessions are designed with an 85% focus on the fundamentals and 15% on strategies.
Working with all AFL Queensland Talent pathway programs. Primarily the Boys 16s State squad, Boys 17s Talent squad and Girls 18s State programs, but also includes providing education to younger age groups and regional hubs and coaches.
