The Kenmore Bears Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for a Reserves Coach & a number of Assistant Coaches to join the Senior squad for the 2020 Season.
The Bears had another successful year on the field with both Seniors and Reserves playing finals football, made possible with a large talented player list. We have been playing in the QFA Division 2 competition.
We pride ourselves on being a community-based club that draws players from all over Brisbane. We are seeking high quality individuals to join our Coaching group, who bring a passion for the game, ability to relate and develop these young men as people and footballers and who want to be part of a great club culture.
We will provide the successful applicants with a squad of players, having developed links to local clubs and schools, Coaching support from the Senior Coaching Group, and access to a Sports Trainer.
The applicant should be able to assist in the Club’s football and coaching strategies, implement a game plan effectively, communicate effectively and have great interpersonal skills to work alongside everyone at the club.
– Minimum AFL Level 1 accreditation
– High level knowledge and experience as coach working with Youth players
– Blue card accreditation
– Good communication skills
We would like to appoint all Coaches during October to have them involved in the 4-6-week preseason before Christmas with the full Senior Squad.
