About the club
PBCAFC have been a successful club both on and off the field since it’s inception in 1961. The club has won 24 premierships across all grades over the past 50 years and receives ongoing sponsorship from the PBC Sports Club. This success is due to the motivation and devotion from both on and off field staff in conjunction with a cohesive playing squad and a commitment to the development of our juniors.

About the role:
A vacancy exists for the position of Senior Coach. The Senior Coach will be responsible for implementing a football program based on strong leadership, elite standards, individual player development & education, and a structured and definable game style that will be applied to the Club’s senior football programs. Our Senior Coach will;
• Develop and manage sessions relating to the major areas of player skill and strategy training • Formulate and supervise skill training programs for individual players
• Provide advice and instructions to individual players and the team in respect of fitness, development, skills and tactics
• Management of pre-season groups (commencing November 2020)
• Provide strong leadership to the playing and coaching groups that encourages a supportive team environment consistent with the Club’s values.
• Coach the Senior Team during all home and away and finals games
• Be part of the Selection Committee and work within selection committee guidelines • Work with the Committee and Football Operations Staff in the recruitment of players • Be agile in the face of challenges both within games and the wider club and community environment
• Be demanding and seek continual improvement from both themselves and the playing group • Be dedicated to promoting the Club’s brand and culture with all internal and external stakeholders.
