The Moreton Bay Lions AFSC is a progressive football club located at Burpengary, approximately 40 minutes north of Brisbane. With a presence in Women’s Football since 2013, our club has prided itself on providing opportunities for female footballers of all ages to participate in Australian Rules Football. Since 2019 our club has fielded 2 Senior Women’s sides in the QFAW Division 1 and Division 2 competitions. The Club is currently seeking expressions of interest for the following coaching positions: QFAW Division 1 Coach Our Senior Women are regarded as a squad, similar to our Men, with players selected to play in either Division based on coaching selections made week to week. It is essential that both coaches be able to work closely to ensure a harmonious environment for training and playing. For that reason, we are open to applications from coaching partnerships/teams that believe they could work together. We are seeking applicants with the following attributes: High level communicators with excellent interpersonal skills to work with players, coaches and Club Committee. Proven ability to teach skills to players of all levels, including beginners. Ability to implement a training program that is suitable to player’s ability, providing variety and challenge. Ability to develop a game plan/style of play suitable to the ability of the squad. From time to time, participate and encourage senior player participation in training sessions for our junior and female youth teams. Application Closing Date: 5pm Friday 24th September |
