FEATURE GAMES IN CLUB AID FINAL ROUND

Tuesday 15 March 2011

The second and final round of the NEAFL Club Aid pre-season takes place on Saturday, with northern division fixtures switching to Aspley and southern division remaining at Labrador.

The Brisbane Lions Reserves and Broadbeach appear best placed to take the title, although all clubs rotated most of their list through the two games in the opening round.

Broadbeach’s clash with Labrador in the feature game at Cooke-Murphy Oval at 11.40am will decide whether the Cats can contend for the trophy.

Dayne Zorko’s dynamite performance against the Suns last weekend was the highlight of Round 1, although Labrador recruit Ryan Davey had plenty of observers noting his addition to the Tiger ranks as a huge boost.

The Lions Reserves will win the competition if they defeat the winless Brisbane Scorpions 2 team, then account for home side Aspley in the 2pm game at Graham Road.

The feature match will be the 11.40am clash between Morningside and Mt Gravatt.
