Colts Coaches – Southport Sharks AFC

The Southport Sharks U18’s participates in the QFA Colts Competition, with its most recent premiership success in 2016, followed up by a 3rd place in 2017 and a Premiership in 2018.

The Southport Sharks are now accepting applications for the U18’s COLTS Coaching positions for the 2019 season.

The Colts Coach plays a critical role in the progression of over 400 male youth players into senior ranks and our own NEAFL Team.

U18’s Colts Coach
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
• Hold a minimum Level 1 AFL Coaching accreditation (level 2 preferred).
• A Current Blue card (working with children).
• Your Personal Coaching Philosophy.
• High level organizational skills and excellent communication
skills.
• Passion around building relationships with players and
parents.
• An Ability to develop pre-season & in-season training
programs.
• Experience in developing and embedding a great club
culture.
• A willingness to work with and respect all other coaches,
volunteers, sponsors, members and the committee.
• An understanding of final year school commitments, time
restraints and player management strategies.

Assistant Line Coaches
• Hold a minimum Level 1 AFL Coaching accreditation.
• A Current Blue card (working with children) or the ability to
obtain one.
