The girls’ championships features teams from Brisbane South, Brisbane North, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Darlings Downs, North Queensland and, for the first time, the Northern Rivers.

Both championships are the first steps in a junior player’s football development; preparing them for the next stage in their journey through the AFL Queensland Player Pathway.

The theme of the championships’ is ‘Let them play’, with boys and girls encouraged to express themselves, learn through a discovery environment and develop their game sense.
