Male AFL Youth Project to Launch in Queensland

AFL Queensland today announced a male youth football project with the aim of forming a male youth strategy.

McLaughlin Sports Consultancy will assist with the process, in partnership with AFL Queensland, as they take the next step and consult with all stakeholders: parents, players, administrators, coaches and umpires.

“Ultimately the youth strategy project is around looking at how we continue to grow youth football in Queensland over the next three to five years,” said AFL Queensland CEO Dean Warren.

“From a process point of view, we want to consult widely with our Queensland football community, seek feedback, and we want to look for innovative ideas and ways to deliver football for this particular age group into the future.”

Surveys have been created for stakeholders to express their views about male youth football in Queensland.

The below survey links are open today and will close on 4th October.
