AFL Queensland is excited to bring you our Junior Match Programs:
Roy’s Footy & Superstars Footy
Roy’s Footy is run within the Brisbane Lions catchment zones, with Superstars Footy being run within the Gold Coast SUNS catchment zone.
Our Junior Match Programs are a super fun, social and safe way for boys and girls between the ages of 5-7 who have graduated from the NAB AFL Auskick Program to continue on their AFL journey. These programs allow participants to continue to develop their football, social skills and match play in a local club environment before officially joining Junior Club Football in Under 8’s.
These programs run for 8 – 16 weeks (varies between clubs), with each 1 hour session incorporating 15 minutes of game-based-skill activities followed by a 6-a-side modified AFL match.
All sessions are held at Junior AFL Clubs on a weekly basis with no need for during the week training. Some clubs may form a localised cluster, giving the opportunity for participants to play against other teams from other local clubs.
Please see below list of all Junior AFL Clubs in Queensland that are participating in the Junior Match Programs.
