Brisbane Lions Cup (Girls)

The Brisbane Lions Cup (Girls) is the pinnacle of interschool AFL for secondary girls in South East Queensland.

Designed as the next step up from the Youth Girls Cup, and open to all secondary schools, girls compete in a 15-a-side competition on larger fields with full tackling allowed.

With divisions in Junior (Year 8-9) and Senior (Year 10-12), this annual competition is a great taste of what club footy has to offer for girls and women in Queensland.

Run in a similar format to the Youth Girls Cup, schools can win their way through to a South East Queensland Grand Final, to be held in 2013 on Thursday 19th September at Yeronga AFC.
