Some of the great champions of Queensland football figure prominently among the leading games played of all time.

At the top of the list is Wilston-Grange stalwart Syd Guildford, a longtime State representative after who the Syd Guildford Trophy is named for the best player in the competition as judged by league observers.

Queensland Team of the Century members Owen Backwell, Don Smith, Wayne Stewart, Des Hughes, and Dick Verdon also feature in the top 10.
