A Sandgate junior who was a key player with Windsor-Zillmere through the 1980’s. Made his debut in the finals of 1981 as a 15-year-old, playing in a premiership under Frank Gumbleton, and won another flag in ’88.
Began as a wingman/midfielder and finished an ever-reliable back pocket. A club B&F winner, he played 22 times for Queensland after
making his interstate debut at 16 and was a regular standout whenever he pulled on the maroon jumper.
In recent years he has returned to Sandgate to coach as the club rebuilds after some difficult times and has had a long association with the Northern Raiders development program.
