AFL Fiji

AFL in Fiji has grown dramatically in recent years, introducing the game to nearly 20,000 participants a year across the main island, Viti Levu.

The team in Fiji delivers the Bulakick program in schools and communities in Suva and Nadi, teaching the basics of the sport, and providing a strong talent pathway into the AFL South Pacific system. Bulakick not only focuses on growing the sport, but developing good behaviours around health, disability inclusion and gender-based violence. With our U15 Tribe team winning the recent Oceania Cup, hopefully a few more young boys and girls come through and join our national men’s Tribe and women’s Vonu teams at the next International Cup.

Our senior competition has been flying, and with growth continuing across the country it’s only a matter of time before Fiji competes with the powerhouse’s of the region.
