Coombabah & Kedron clinch Brisbane Lions Cups

It was Coombabah and Kedron secondary schools who took home the trophies following yesterday’s Brisbane Lions Cup – Boys Division 2 and 3 at Yeronga.

Competition was fierce but fair, with only one game separating first and second in both divisions. Coombabah SHS were winners in Divison 2.

Division 3 was decided in the last game of the day with Kedron SHS claiming the trophy after defeating Mt Gravatt SHS.

Jayden Hill from Coombabah was named Division 2 player of the carnival, with Max Gamble from Mt Gravatt SHS claiming the medal for Division 3.

Brisbane Lions Players Archie Smith, Cian Hanley, Jono Freeman and Josh Watts added extra excitement to the day, presenting medals and joining in for team photos.
